Default Pilates spirituality?

I see pilates in this list with yoga, meditation and reiki which traditionally involve some sort of spirituality. Does pilates involve spirituality to? I always thought it was only an exercise routine.

I always wondered from which religion these "sports" draw their philosophy. With deeper investigation I was not very pleased to find out that some of them are rooted in pagan rituals.

Pilates is more just the exercise portion of yoga. It's kind of the Americanized and secularized version. I have never seen a Pilates lesson that had any of the spiritual aspects involved.

I don't know about the others but yoga is actually a spiritual practice. What is done in the yoga classes is just a supporting aspect of yoga, treating and exercising you physically and mentally.

Spirituality is different from Religion and religions, religious people are not always spiritual while spiritual people normally are not associated with any religion. I don't know about the others but yoga is about spirituality, not religions.
