Here is a fun article on the highest paying, lowest stress jobs:

Top 5 best-paying, low-stress jobs

1. Physical therapist
Unlike other medical professionals like doctors and nurses, physical therapists usually don't have to work nights. They also generally have flexible schedules. And as the baby boomers age, the demand for PTs wil likely increase (which means work won't likely dry up!). Plus, you can make a darn good living doing this: between $50,000 - $105,000 per year.

2. Massage therapist
Not only are you working wonders on your customer's stress levels, you'll be working wonders on your own! Most massage therapists have flexible hours (most of the time you're your own boss) and make between $10 - $35 per hour.

3. Computer software engineer
A computer software engineer designs and tests everything from computer games to operating systems. Plus, you can often work from home. (Say hello to no boss breathing down your neck!) Computer software engineers usually make between $54,000 - $130,000 per year.

4. Civil engineer
If you're crazed by tight deadlines at work, this might be the job for you. Civil engineers design and build infastructure like public roads and buildings. You'll likely work on a team and have years to plan and execute your creations, which takes the deadline pressure down a notch (or seven!). Plus, the Bureau of Labor Statistics says there will be a 24 percent increase in these jobs in the next 10 years, and you can make $50,000 - $115,000 per year doing it.

5. Technical writer
Are you good at explaining complicated concepts in an easy-to-understand manner? If you answered "yes," this low-stress job might be for you. The potential upsides of being a technical writer include flexible hours, a quiet workplace and the potential to work from home. You can generally rake in between $47,000 - $98,000 per year in this job.

Stress can crumble our body`s immune system and it is formed because of excessive pressures, worries and anxieties of modern life. Having memory problems, thinking about negative things all the time and negative self-talk are also the symptoms of the stress.

Most people do not recognize those symptoms as something related to stress, until it really becomes debilitating and that is the time that they consult a doctor for it.

Interesting. I wonder why some people lose weight while the others gain it when they undergo stress. What is the determining factor here? Anyway, I hope no body will use it as a weight loss method.

I would like to contest that article, engineering jobs rarely come with low stress, I should know. You have to meet deadlines left and right. The person who wrote the article should have researched the subject a little more.

The answer can be found from the other symptoms of stress. If you are stressed then you either eat much or less. Also, you might have have sleepless nights or unable to wake up in the morning. This will affect your weight in the end.

Irritability is my main concern. I'm not aggressive or anything but I work a static job by the computer and I never get the chance to unload the negative energy so I keep most of the bad things in. in such situation trigger for irritation can be anything. It's not healthy, I know.

I got at least two of these symptoms. I believe that there isn't a single person who isn't stressed today. 100 years ago everything was simpler and people lived at a much slower pace.
