Default Types of Yoga: Karma Yoga

This takes into consideration the universal principal of cause & effect. The bhakta is made to realize that the reason he is experiencing his present situation is the effect of causes he has enacted & entertained previously. He understands the fact that for a more fulfilling future life he needs to change his present thoughts & actions.

Is Karma Yoga a type of yoga or a part of yoga? I hear that a real yogi does all aspects of yoga. He practices asanas (Hatha Yoga), learns the philosophy (Jinana Yoga), renders service to humanity (Karma yoga), does meditation (Raja Yoga), and follows Bhakti Yoga.
