Default Pilates – A Physical Fitness System

Developed in the 20th century by Joseph Pilates in Germany, Pilates is a physical fitness system. Because of Joseph’s belief that his method uses the mind to control muscles, he called the method Contrology. The main objective of practicing Pilates is to keep the body balanced which is extremely essential for providing support to the spine. In short, Pilate exercises are meant for proper spine alignment & strengthening of deep torso muscles.
