Multivitamins.

What most of us don't realize is that everyday when we take multivitamins is that we from them out at the next stop at the bathroom. Instead of falling for adds that bombard you with nonsense and make you take chemicals when you don't need them, spend some time researching a healthy diet, you'd be surprised what little you need for a balanced vitamin and mineral intake. It will also taste better and not pollute your body.

I wholeheartedly agree with you there, solarpowered. Most of the chemicals in the vitamins we take are flushed out of the body, whereas those from healty diet that we eat are more easily absorbed.

There are supplements with time release coated tablets and capsules which will stay in the body for at least 10 hours. To me that is better than nothing.

I agree that taking supplements is definitely not the way to go. Balanced and thought out diet can reach farther than any artificial thing can.

It's always better to get our nutrients from our foods but that isn't always possible these days. I think it's better to take a supplement than to go without getting the nutrition we need. And it's not all flushed out of our system, not if you buy the right brands.

I tend to disagree with this. I feel better when I take my multi's. There's been times when, due to insufficient funds, I've had to forgo my vitamins and I actually didn't feel as well as when I took them every day. Maybe it's a mental thing, I don't know. But I'm gonna keep taking them.

I can't agree more with you. I am not a big fan of multivitamin supplements either, and prefer to get the vitamins from natural sources: food. If we maintain a good and healthy diet, we won't need those supplements.

cost of vitamins

I have heard of people not taking multivitamins because of the price. Some of the better brands, including food-based vitamins can be more expensive than others, however buying online can lead to huge savings. It is worth the investment in your health!

Tandy is right in my point of view. With our busy lifestyle, it's very difficult to find time researching or eating healthy diets to maintain body balance. Also, fund/s insufficiency is quite an issue here, especially if you have things that needs to be prioritized. With Hercules Multivitamins, I find it easy to have my body stays at balance also in a very affordable price

Multivitamin

Vitamins are natural substances that your body needs to grow, develop, and function normally. Vitamins are contained in food; a well-balanced diet usually provides all of the vitamins required. However, there are times, such as during pregnancy and childhood, when your body needs more vitamins than usual. During certain illnesses, your body either cannot get or cannot efficiently use all of the vitamins it needs. :D
