A third grader's drawing of a rainforest won the Doodle 4 Google competition. Maybe this will help raise awareness. Here is an article:

Third-Grader’s Doodle Wins Google Contest

Notice something different about the Google logo Friday?

The drawing, showing a rainforest in which the Google letters are turned into plants and animals, beat out more than 33,000 submissions to win this year’s Doodle 4 Google competition and was designed by a Missouri third-grader. The winner, Makenzie Melton, will get a $15,000 scholarship and a computer, and her school will get a $25,000 grant, Google announced.

In her submission, Makenzie wrote that she drew her doodle because “the rainforest is in danger and it is not fair to the plants and animals.” “I love everything except spiders and snakes, but I would still save them,” she wrote.
