Default Biodegradable Soap?

I often hike and camp in my area which has awesome nature sites and I often end up sleeping a night or two while on trail. Since hygiene is an important factor I bring regular soap with me. But recently I heard that you can buy a biodegradable soap which when used won't pollute the environment? Has any of you used such soap before?

Of course, I use such soap all the time when camping. It does not have fancy fragrance like some other common soaps do but hey take care of the outdoors if it made you happy while hiking.

I have seen and used such soaps. In Philippines, they've been around for some years. They are not only biodegradable, they are also friendly to plants. They don't have to be odorless. They can bear some fragrance too but from plants, of course.

These soaps are really nice alternative to those chemical soaps. I just wonder if they have the same cleaning power as regular soaps do?

So if there is a biodegradable soap then why not use it on regular basis and not just when we go out camping or hiking? The lack of fragrance can be supplemented by our perfume or cologne.

The thing is, and please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this soap can even come close to regular soap's cleaning potential.

Ofcourse i usually use biogradable soaps. These soaps can be used to wash dishes, clothing, hair, hands, face and even your car. The more environmentally friendly we can be, the better off our children and grandchildren will be. Unlike organic foods, these products are generally much cheaper than their counterparts.I strictly recommend this product.......!!!!!
