Default Anyone suffering from cruel acne?

Many of the people in my family suffer from acne. I was the only one blessed to have the issue skip me. But now my younger cousin sister has it! ( poor thing) and she is really struggling with it. The kids in her school tease her so badly that sometimes she comes home in tears, the poor dear . So i am really desperate to find out some kind of wonder drug that may help her to soothe this, with no side effects off course. Does anyone have a pre-teen that is suffering with blemishes? What have you tried? Thanks in advance.

Default Re: Anyone Suffering From Cruel Acne?

There is an array of options available for treating acne. You may seek to try one of these:

Self Help: Wash the affected area at least twice a day to keep the area clean. Take care to use only gentle soaps to wash your face & not use scrubs.

Medicines: Antibacterial agents such as benzoyl peroxide contained in medicines helps in treating acne. Besides being antibacterial, benzoyl peroxide also causes the skin to dry & shed the layer of dead skin. Though this may cause redness initially, if used carefully, it is quite effective.

Creams & Lotions: Commonly prescribed creams & lotions include – Retinoids, Azelaic Acid & antibiotic lotions such as erythromycin or clindamycin.

Apart from the medicines and creams and lotions, what i believe is that one should provide loads of psycological support to such kids and make them understand that this is not an unnatural thing and will pass with time. A proper diet, drinking plenty of fluids and some regular exercise or activity is more important.
Most teens get this problem and those who do not might be just lucky. Try to divert attention of teens from this subject to something which is more important....after all and as far as my memory serves me there were and are not many inventors and masterminds who were exceptionally beautiful....and most beautiful people have not been of any use either to their society or nation....

Hey thanks Adam, for the consolation. You know exactly what it feels like to be suffering from these acnes.
And thanks Natalie for your tips too. I will surely try those, although I have been washing my face frequently throughout the daytime, I will also give a shot to the Medicines, creams and lotions you mentioned.
Thanks a lot envirocitizens

Default natural acne aid ,free of side effects

Reduce oil intake in any form or replace it with olive oil, drink plenty of water, eat raw vegetables of ur choice often.Apply a thin layer of Sidr honey on ur acne.It will not only take care of the acne but also of acne scars.Using natural products is always free of side effects though relatively slow to act.
