Default Refraining Products with Toxic Chemicals

Is it possible that we totally refrain from using products that contribute to the greenhouse effect? It seems like we are so much dependent on chemicals that really can't stop it. I mean without using pesticides, crops will produce less. Or without using spray nets, beauticians will have less customers.

I think it's possible and doable. If everyone will think about the impact s/he is making, what a big difference it would make. Our great, great ancestors walked this earth without using harmful chemicals that we know now. It's just that many of us are not ready to give up the kind of life we have come to know in exchange of a better world to live in.
