Default Greenhouse Gases – Types & Symbols

Greenhouse gases are the gases that absorb and emit radiation within the thermal infrared range in an atmosphere. These greenhouse gases are of two basic types: Controlled & Uncontrolled Gases.

Controlled Gases

Carbon Dioxide CO2
Nitrous Oxide N2O
Methane CH4
Sulphur Hexafluoride SF6
Perfluorocarbons (PFCs)
HFC’s
Uncontrolled Gases
Water Vapour H2O (gas)
Ozone O3

Where do all these gases come from? How are we going to control them? There are many ignorant people like me, who have inadequate knowledge about green house gases and their effects.

Nitrous oxide (N2O) is produced by both natural and human-related sources. Primary human-related sources of N2O are agricultural soil management, animal manure management, sewage treatment, mobile and stationary combustion of fossil fuel, adipic acid production, and nitric acid production. Nitrous oxide is also produced naturally from a wide variety of biological sources in soil and water, particularly microbial action in wet tropical forests.

instead of focusing on all of the different gases we should probably focus on limiting them one at a time.. i think that will get things done a lot quicker
