Default Can't buy a new planet

I think our government should be leading the way on getting a grip on greenhouse gas emissions, but they surely haven't. Why would they wait any longer than they have to to make this a priority? All the money in the world can't buy you a new planet.

That's certainly a very true statement. If they would just provide a subsidy for people who want to use alternative energy at home, it would help tremendously. The cost of converting to solar or wind power is very expensive.

It's the American way to not do anything to prevent a problem, but to wait until there is a crisis, then kick in the heroics. "Green" in America is all about bucks, and not the planet.

It's a funny thing why government is doing that. I think because it does not feel the need for it. And if governments doesn't feel the need you need to ask yourself to is there a real threat to the environment then?

These are all Nobel Prize winning scientists who have formally accused the US government of distorting science and denying the truth to the public about the detrimental effects of global warming. I believe THEM:

I think it is all about money. Politicians need money to be elected, and they go to bed with people that offer them money for making sure we don't move forward in the Green effort. Look at what is happening at the gas pump. There is enough fuel but they are trading futures because they are afraid of not being able to make money in the future.

A lot of people don't think that been green is really important. Everybody is always waiting for someone else to do something. I heard that they were going to make sure that all the vehicles used by government employees were either hybrid or electric. They are supposed to have this accomplished in full by 2015. Let's see if that happens.
