A few years ago I was trying to build a small solar energy harvesting unit with some old cells I stripped from my radio. But apparently they were broken. I started the project again after long pause and know I have no idea where can I get such small cells and for what price. Any help?

You can find broken ones online just by doing a search. You then take the ones with the connections intact and solder them together to make a series. It's not hard to do and they are pretty cheap when you buy the broken ones.
