Nasal Spray Vaccines More Effective?

I read an article the other day that said that vaccines may be more effective if delivered via a nasal spray instead of a shot. I think this makes much more sense to me since viruses are usually contracted by inhaling them. This would be a lot easier for the kids than getting multiple shots as I have observed when my kids got their shots. Do you think this would be as effective?

That does make sense. I know it would certainly be a lot less stressful for the kids and whomever is bringing them to the doctor's office. I think I would rather have a nasal spray for my flu immunization.

Oh, I certainly hope this is true!! I hate shots but my husband is chronically ill so I have to get immunizations every year to keep from carrying an illness home to him. I would much rather have a nasal spray. Nice!

That would be awesome!!! I would look forward to that. My sister still has small kids at her house and they still have to get shots so I'm sure she would be thrilled to hear this. I hope the insurance companies start paying for this route soon!!
