Default How to do your bit of a green job

If you love mountaineering like me then you and I can do our bit of a green job by picking the rubbish that irresponsible hikers throw on the pathways. I learned this technique from our mountaineer guide. He had with him an empty water bottle which he filled with bits of thrash he found along the way. Because whether we like it or not, sadly, there are some mountain-climbers who are just doing it for fun but don't really have passion for the environment. I do hope that some local authorities would impose stricter rule against littering in the mountains.

I don't go in the mountains very often but I do live near the beach. I always take a bag with me to pick up the trash I find. Some is from people littering here and some washes to the shore with the tide.

Good point, Tandy. Anywhere you are, whatever you do, you can do your bit. Instead of waiting and hoping for the change to happen, let us be the change and let it begin with me/us.
