Default Green sector growth?

Undoubtedly all of us want to have a green job, but with them being limited and specialized most of us don't have the funds to start doing non profit work just to have a green job. Do you think that green jobs will experience enough growth in the future to become a major work sector?

Well the energy sector is reshaping it's self quite fast so I imagine that in the future almost all jobs in this sector will be green.

I personally think it would have the same impact as other fuel industries. Like them, this is a specialized field of work, and special trainings/education is needed to fill up the jobs. It would not take much slice from the unemployment statistics.

Without a doubt in my mind I see that green living and working is the future. But to what extent will this be good for an ordinary man I have no idea nor I can predict it.

With all the upcoming carbon taxes, green innovations and changes in technology I can imagine how many people will only work as consultants in this field let alone as experts in various green professions.

Man I hope so. I would love to see a specialized degree created in colleges. I think it's going to come down the pike but for right now, any alternative way to heat/cool a home, except for passive, is too high priced to be able to make your money back in savings until about 4-5 years have passed. But then you would have free energy but still, it's really high.

The will of our corporations and government does not support creation of green technology and jobs to go with it. It's a shame, because it's a golden way to create good momentum in favor of the earth and jump-start our economy.
