Default Has anybody actually had success with green investing?

I question this entire green investing strategy because it has yet to prove itself. Wind energy and solar energy have been blown up so much and still no real massive changes in terms of stock market representation. This is clearly just a fad going on for the time being that will eventually die out. If someone has had success feel free to enlighten me with your story.

I don't think its a fad at all. You can't expect all of these to evolve overnight. As for which ones are good, just google successful green ETFs or something and im sure ull find ones that have done well.

At the moment the eficencies are not on par with fosil fuels, but that will more likelly change in the future, wit reserach being done all over the world the eficency is growing we are probably a decade away from achieving green energy sources that are more cost effective than regular ones, sure you could invest in oil, the price will most likelly go up, but at one point sooner or later it will probably become obsolete.
