To save money on your utility bills:

Make sure any window air conditioning units are covered and wrapped from the outside to keep drafts from coming in.

Caulk around windows.

Check and replace if needed, the rubber weather stripping around doors.

If your windows are really old and drafty, consider covering them with clear sheets of plastic. This will really help keep the heat in and the cold out.
