Default Green Parties

I have been buying paper plates because I know the foam ones are killing our planet. However, I want to find eco-friendly plates, cutlery, cups, etc, so I can keep having tons of parties with zero guilt. Could anybody direct me to a company that sells them? The few options in the supermarket are too expensive.

I went to garage sales and antique stores and bought a whole bunch of cheap plates. You have to wash them, but they are more environmentally friendly than foam or paper.

Yes I would have to agree with EcoChick in that washing plates and cups (in the long run) is more eco-friendly than buying any kind of paper products. Plus it is cheaper too.

This way you can use minimal water by filling the sink and washing the dishes and use eco-friendly soap that won't hurt the environment. It is more work, but well worth it!

I couldn't agree more...Say no to using paper or foam plates. I think flea markets could be a good place to scout for inexpensive but good quality items including kitchen utensils. You can actually find new items at reasonable prices.
