Thumbs up Waterless washing machine

I heard about this news sometime in 2008 and my source was saying that the biggest company manufacturing laundry detergents bought the concept because they didn't want it to be materialized. Unfortunately, I don't have the proper reference to it. Anyway, while browsing this forum I thought about searching for it and this is what I found. Check it out and say what you think.

The first part sounds like a really bad conspiracy theory, as for the link, it's dated 2009 June and the article says "due to hit American shores next year'. I'm pretty sure it was a gag article.

I would never buy a green product like that. It would only get certain parts of the laundry clean. I think it was either a really dumb idea or a gag posted on the internet.

I am skeptical of its claims, assuming it is a serious product. I wouldn't buy it either; I have a hard enough time getting my cloth diapers clean in an HE washer, much less trying to do it in a waterless washer.
