Default Cody Lundin Green Home

I was amazed with some examples of green homes and how they are built. One of such examples is definitely Cody Lundin's house. Cody Lundin is a long time survival expert and self-reliance educator. His house serves as the best example of how you can build your own house in harmony with nature and avoid paying those expensive electrical bills. You are definitely right. Not only that this house looks amazing and is built so that it leaves the smallest possible footprint in the wild it is very functional too.

It's interesting and as the population grows we will definitely need to live in places where we normally wouldn't venture and we must make sure we don't disturb the natural habitat.

It's a step in the right direction, we can't just keep adding brick and cement and hope for the best, we need to be smart about how we go about building the future.

This is way beyond something I imagined for my own home. I'm in no way creative like Cody but I would want to build something similar in the future.

I've always liked earth-sheltered and underground homes because I believe they are good for the environment. Of course, to make them truly green, you'd have to choose green products to use in construction and select furnishings that were make from natural and eco-friendly products . I've heard that heating costs are a fraction of the cost of an above ground home, which makes sense because of the ground that is around them.

I've always loved these types of homes, dome houses too. Cody is like a poster boy for nature and environmental consciousness. He has his own survival show too "Duel Survival". I would love to have a home like this....

Apart from being useful this house requires a lot of effort to maintain and build actually. Since it is built only from natural materials it does decay faster. But I think it's worth every penny.

I agree with you that is hard to build such a house and I think Cody had a lot to work on but it does pay out in the end.

That house is super neat! I wouldn't mind living in something like that. Isn't that the guy on TV who hasn't worn shoes in like 20 years or something?
