Default Al Gore's Green Home

People have mixed feelings about Al Gore and his environmental activism. His green home has received both applauses and smirks. Anyway, here are the some of the green renovations that his house went through: the driveway was transformed into a rainwater collection system; geothermal wires were installed underground to help cool and warm the home; the roofs were lined with solar panels.

I bet those adaptations cost millions of dollars which is hardly to be considered green. Green living of that level is still utopia for most people so Al you should better concentrate of some more practical examples.

Start up for new technology is always expensive. Personal computers is a great example. Computers used to be MUCH more expensive than they are. Now that they are common and affordable, look how many trees don't get killed for newspapers anymore because so much is now online. I can't fault him because he's walking his talk and it's expensive. I give him credit for putting his money where his mouth is.
