Default Eco friendly paints and painters ?

I'm looking to repaint my house soon and I'm wondering what would be the best choice for a paint that is eco friendly ? Better yet how do you find painters that use or maybe specialize in using " green " paint ?

I know Loews has valspar which to my knowledge is actually pretty credible in terms of their eco-friendly nature.

Hello , I'm a painter in Middlesex County New Jersey that offers eco friendly paints as well as practices environmentally responsible painting methods . I know a good number of painters that have seen the benefits of offering these services to their customers , As well as the benefits to the environment . I would think a proper detailed Google search of painters in your area would lead you in the right direction . Most painters with a website will specify in some way if they are eco friendly .

I know its been a while since you posted this question, but I'm new to this forum and just read it this morning. Your question is actually impossible to answer as presented. In order to present a proper answer, we would need to know the following:

Interior or exterior?
Substrate?
Is there a budget?
What do you mean when you say "eco-friendly"? Human friendly, environmentally friendly or sustainable. You cant have all three.

I think you should first find a good eco-friendly painter, who can tell you what to do.
