Straw Bale Homes
I've read a couple of articles and seen pictures of homes that were constructed using straw bales for the outside walls. Of course, the bales were covered with another material on the outside and inside walls. What I really like is the straw bales are natural and take the place of synthetic insulation, which is much healthier for us and the environment, too.
