Question Water as Fuel

What happened to that green research made some years back about separating oxygen and hydrogen in water, so that hydrogen can be used as fuel for cars? The by product of this separation is pure oxygen. Was it killed by oil-rich businessmen?

I honestly don't know about this particular project but I do know that a lot of similar project present a big danger to many industries and industry elite certainly wants nothing to do with it. Who's to say that they don't work and invest towards shutting those projects down?

No, it was killed or at least put on the back-burner because it's not a practical suggestion. The hydrogen cannot be separated out enough in the car, no matter what some products claim, so it would take setting up refueling stations to make practical. It's also a very volatile gas when pure so is dangerous.

Most of that water into gas stuff is still very much science fiction.

Imagine if car is run by water instead of fuel than it is really a great thing for everybody..For a human as they don't have to pay for fuel and one can afford it..For nature as if car is being run with water than it will not threw carbon mono oxide or anything from it...
