I am looking to trade in my old car for something that fits the following discription.... good on gas, 4 doors, 4 wheel drive, 2007-2009, $10,000-$15,000, roomy, got any good ideas?
It depends on what you mean by green. If you are looking hybrid, I'm sorry it won't happen. Too much money. As far as hybrids being green That is another discussion they are not as friendly to the environment as everybody thinks. If you are looking for the best bang for the buck, look at an "05 Jeep Liberty", good car good value.
I would suggest a Honda Civic or Accord, four cylinder. These typically get very good gas mileage, are very reliable, emit little polution and are cheap to insure, run and repair. Jeep Liberty? Nah. Not very reliable.
I test drove a used hybrid Ford Escape. If it hadn't been the very first year that the model was in production, I might have gone with it as a green option. I couldn't say it was roomy though.
