Default Smart Car

I've been looking at a little Smart Car for around town driving. I understand it doesn't do well on interstates but for around town, it would be perfect. Does anyone have one? Can you tell me what they are like and if you really like it?

I don't have a smart car and I doubt if I would want it. While it's good to use a smart car as it consumes less gas than a regular car do, I don't think it's very safe to ride.

I know of a person who had a Chevrolet Volt a couple of years ago. He used it just for those short trips back and forth to town. He swore by it.

I have to agree with Greensky. I don't think those cars are very safe at all. If you were to get in an accident you would be smashed completely in that car. There is just no room for an accident in those things.

Plus, there is no room to go to the store and buy something because of the lack of storage space. You are better off just riding a bike or moped to get around town then using a smart car.

I have seen the little smart cars around, however, it wouldn't work for our family. I wouldn't be able to go shopping for my family. They are not really cheap when you consider how much you will be able to use it.
