Weird?

Do people tend to think you're a little weird about being green? It seems to me that those who have more money to spend are usually less green. They'll buy the biggest gas guzzler available and laugh when they see a Toyota Prius going down the road. So, have you ever been made fun of or been laughed at for being green?

No actually most people ask what they can do in our community. I live in a small college town and most of our residents do at least small things to help the environment. We have a recycling center that goes to our local businesses to pick up cardboard and shredded paper. It's really empowering to see anyone doing something. It sort of makes you want to do more and more.

Actually, most of my friends are of like mind. We don't really worry about what others think of our habits since we are trying our best to get the rest of the world to do the same.

I've been told that I go to extremes and I am not even as green as I probably could be. No one has said that I'm weird though. Most people today seem to see being green as a good thing but they think some things are going overboard.
