Arrow Is Bill Gates, eco-friendly?

I asked that because I read an article somewhere that Bill Gate's Microsoft Corporation is making people dump their old computers in order to continue benefiting from latest developments. For example, new OS don't work on old computers with less RAM etc.

I don't think that makes him eco-friendly. I don't really understand what you mean by "dump" their computer. If you want the latest OS, yes, you have to get rid of the old computer. But that definitely doesn't make him eco-friendly.

I think what MsImpact means by "dump their old computers" is self-explanatory. Not only with OS but with other things too like wireless and/or LAN internet connection/s. I had a 2000 computer Pentium 2 with only 20G RAM. Can you imagine just how many pictures with 1M pixel could it hold? Of course it could hold more with VGA-sized photos. But who takes VGA sized photos nowadays? Plus loading an internet page took ages. Even Hotmail wouldn't display properly with my old computer. I had no choice but to "dump" it Well, I used it for seven good years but eventually I had to give up on it.
