Green Agriculture
So many people discuss fine details of living green but what about green agriculture? What is that you ask?
Here may be a starting point: When farmers increase the the amount of solar energy captured (this can be measured by a refractometer and is regulated by how well they steward soil minerals) they automatically increase the amount of carbon dioxide taken out of the air and returned to the roots to build humus or to the plant to build biomass.
Here is an interesting quote from an article about harvesting solar energy.
"It is the job of the farmer to use biology, moisture, and geological resources to transform solar energy into a sellable product. This is how wealth is created. In other words the farmer sets up the environment that determines how much solar energy is captured."

Some ideas for thought anyway.
