Default Using Less Energy To Be More Green

We used to keep the temperature in our home set in the lower 70's and have reduced it to 65, 67 if we start feeling cold, and we wear sweaters now. Default Reduced Energy Use

We turned the thermostat down and started wearing heavier clothing if we get chilled, and we use energy saving light bulbs. We didn't know that electronics still use current when they are turned off. We're getting an electrical strip to put them on tomorrow. We want our home to be as eco-friendly as possible.

Default Less energy, more money

We use programmable thermostats in both heating zones of our home and we keep the temperature cool and wear sweatshirts. We used to just adjust the thermostat automatically, but would forget at times and would be inconsistent in adjusting it so we found the programmable thermostats worth the money.

We also turned down the water heater to 120 degrees.

Both of these efforts have made a significant difference.

Being an responsible person it's our duty to save energy for future for our next generation. For that it is advisable to use LED(Light Emitting Diode) or CF(Compact Fluorescent) which saves energy.
