Default Here are some Green tips to keep in mind

1. Pay your Bills Online

2. Buy Rechargeable Batteries

3. Turn the water off when you brush

4. Shorten your shower

5. Don't Pre-Heat the Oven

6. Use Matches instead of lighters

7. Change to Fluorescent Bulbs

8. Turn off computers at night

9. Get rid of baths

10. Go to a car wash

11. Stop paper bank statements

12. Turn Down your Thermostat

13. Turn off your lights

Now, I didn't list the reasons for these tip (why they are good to keep in mind). I thought I'd leave that up for some good discussion.

Those are all great tips for becoming green and being good to the environment. I'll add to put your electronics, like stereos, home entertainment systems and televisions on an electrical strip that can be turned off when they aren't in use. Many people don't realize that electronics still use power when they are off, so they think they are being eco-friendly when they are still using electricity that they don't need to.

Another good tip is to keep the tires on your car properly inflated. If there isn't enough air in your tires, your car will use more gas, thus the emissions will be much higher.
