Default Light Bulbs

I was wondering if those old light bulbs (that are round and not really energy savers) are recyclable? I thought that they were made out of glass. Can anyone help me out with this question?

Places like Lowes and Home Depot will usually accept and recycle your old bulds, or at least the ones where I live do. I have read some articles about projects you can do with them as well.

Here are some nice little vases for instance.

That is a very cute, environmentally-friendly solution to throwing them away. I wonder what else you could do with bulbs? We switched to the energy saving bulbs, but I'm sure my neighbors, family and friends will be happy to recycle theirs to me.

I agree! This is a very good idea. I just have all of my old bulbs packed in the boxes my new ones came in and stacked up in my utility closet. Maybe I should do some kind of project with them.

Default So cute!!!

These are so cute! I have to try and do this. I have some old bulbs in my closet, so I'll give it a shot. I'll post a picture when I'm done.
