Some places are cooling

There are some places on the earth that actually have average temperatures cooling, even though overall the surface temperature of the earth is warming. How do you get people to take global warming seriously?

This is why people have starting calling it climate change instead of global warming. It makes those in the cooling areas think about environmental changes differently instead of brushing them off.

I wondered why there was a change in terms a while back. It seemed like all of a sudden, people were referring to climate change and just left global warming behind. I hope it helps get those in areas that are cooling to take our environment seriously and develop eco-friendy practices.
