Hot peppers (of which cayenne is one variety) have great health benefits if consumed regularly. Perhaps the greatest attribute of hot peppers is that they boost the effectiveness of other herbs/supplements that are taken with them.
They are excellent for the heart and for improving blood circulation.
In fact, there are several doctors that say hot peppers of 250,000 HU (Heat Units) or more can stop a heart attack or a stroke, sometimes with no permanent damage.
Apparently, hot peppers can even stop severe bleeding if the powder or a tincture is poured directly into the wound.
