The Laguna PowerFlo Max BiologicalUnderwater Filter is ideal for use in ponds that contain fish. Thefilter provides the same powerful mechanical filtration as thePowerFlo, plus it features biological filtration with Lagunas patentedBio-Max filter material. The efficient ceramic media provides a hugesurface area for beneficial bacteria to thrive. This media will supportthe decomposition of ammonia and nitrite to less harmful nitrate thatcan be controlled by aquatic plants and water changes. The end resultis that the filter protects the pump from clogging and keeps waterclean and clear. The filter can be installed near the edge of the pondfor quick and easy access and maintenance.
