 Since 2003, Anne Johnson has been an architect and graphic designer that focuses on incorporating sustainable practices and designs into graphic, residential, commercial and civic projects in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. Johnson is a United States Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Design from Arizona State University and her Master of Architecture degree from Ohio State University. She has traveled around the world, gaining unique insight into how various cultures integrate green practices into reality. She was an intern for Corporacion Planen in Guadalajara, Mexcio and was educated by the London Architectural Association School of Architecture. Johnson is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the United States Green Building Council of Nevada, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the Urban Chamber of Las Vegas, the Women Business Network, the Contemporary Arts Collective of Las Vegas and was the co-founder of Green Drinks Las Vegas, a non-profit organization that connects people to discuss environmental issues.
In 2009, the Housing Authority of the City of Las Vegas awarded Johnson with a Recognition of Service. In 2007, she was highlighted by Creating Communities in Innovative Designs for Desert Living by the City of Henderson, Nevada. Johnson was the Artist/Architect-in-Residence for New Directions Youth Arts in Las Vegas in both 2005 and 2006. Johnson offers a variety of services. Her Feasibility Study is a unique evaluation of existing conditions within a home in which she analyzes your home, then proposes projects to improve energy efficiency and resource use. Her Design Package offers a design plan with a detailed outline specifying necessary materials and solutions for electrical, mechanical and plumbing aspects of a home.
Johnson's In-Depth Programming and Energy Need Analysis enables homeowners to understand the types and sizes of spaces required in a home. She also calculates energy usage. Johnson's Fundraising Package incorporates drawings, images and text for any website and printed materials. Johnson, being a graphic designer and illustrator, can also design business identity packages, logos, promotional materials and presentation layouts.
